These hammocks are handwoven by the Mayan Indians of the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. They come in a variety of sizes, string thickness and colors. A tightly woven hammock is more durable and snag resistant and more labor intensive to create. The quality of the hammock is judged by the quality of the string and the fineness of weave. At Four Season Hammocks we strive to provide our customers with a high quality hammock which will last for many years when properly cared for.
Our Mayan hammocks come in a wide variety of colors-- natural white, solid colors, rainbow stripes, bicolor stripes, blended stripes. Each hammocks is unique.
