Although winter camping may only appeal to a hardcore few, many more
could enjoy it by using our Four Season hammock camping system. No more
asphyxiating snow caves. The secret to winter camping in a hammock is to
provide a windproof insulation layer for your backside.
- Use -20 to -40 degree sleeping bag with a foam pad beneath inside
a Gortex bivouac bag. Bubble wrap packaging material or thin closed
cell foam packing sheets can also be used.
- Foam pad eliminates cold backside.
- Rain fly offers protection from snow and wind.
- Excellent for backcountry ski touring.
